The Airflex ACB-F3 features a symmetrical opposed piston caliper design that delivers reliable, stable braking torque. Its friction pads offer around 50% longer lifetime than competing products, ensuring consistent torque over extended use. The large pad surface improves thermal dissipation for high-energy stopping.
Easy Installation and Low-Maintenance Operation
Designed for flexibility, the brake’s modular configuration fits various disc sizes and allows custom braking torque. Multiple calipers can be installed on one disc to achieve required force. Maintenance tasks, such as replacing friction pads, seals, and springs, can be done without removing the caliper, minimising downtime. Optional wear and engagement sensors further enhance safety and allow remote monitoring.
Engineered for Safety and Reliability
With a clamping force of 20–120 kN and braking force of 16–96 kN, the Airflex ACB-F3 operates at release oil pressures of 40–190 bar (580–2,756 psi). It is available with organic or sintered pads, and an anti-corrosion version is offered for extreme environments.
