The facility is designed to boost workforce skills, increase productivity, and empower customers to achieve their goals.

Practical Training for Aseptic PET Operations

The training facility strengthens trainees’ skills in state-of-the-art aseptic PET operations, troubleshooting, maintenance, and operational excellence.

Through practical training on technical benches that replicate real production scenarios and equipment, trainees gain everyday experience in a controlled, immersive environment - eliminating disruption to live production.

Risk-Free, Real-World Simulation

“This method enhances aseptic maintenance and operations skills while reducing reliance on on-the-job training. Trainees can safely copy issues and repeat tasks as needed, boosting confidence and productivity on the shop floor,” comments Olivier Cocheril, VP Asset Performance & Digital Services, Sidel.

By avoiding real equipment use, customers save costs and eliminate risks, while benefiting from customized training tailored to all experience levels.

Comprehensive Course Content

Sidel’s new aseptic training centre offers local training programs focused on aseptic processing, equipment operation, maintenance, and best practices to ensure food safety and quality. It also serves as a demonstration site for Sidel's aseptic filling solutions and as a technical support resource for customers.

The training courses cover Sidel’s Aseptic Combi system, preparing trainees to handle real-life operational challenges. Modules are tailored for both operators and maintenance technicians, ensuring full compliance with FDA and OSHA regulations.

Customised Training Programs

Programs are customized to trainee needs, with durations ranging from 2 to 15 days. Delivered through a blended approach, each course features a 30:70 balance of theory to practice, combining classroom learning with hands-on simulation.

Pre- and post-assessments, along with practical evaluations, ensure measurable results and improved skills for all participants.

Extending Global Aseptic Training Reach

The new Atlanta aseptic training centre complements Sidel’s global network of training facilities in China, France, and Italy. By bringing world-class expertise closer to customers in the Americas, Sidel continues to support safe, efficient, and sustainable aseptic production.
